For The Birds is dedicated to
spreading the word and educating those who may not be familiar
with parrot rescue and adoption.
We have an agenda here at For
The Birds and as most of you know, we are against the breeding and
selling
of
birds. Our goals are to
encourage people to adopt from a rescue instead of buying.
We feel that there are many rescues
out there that need help, as rescues depend on donations and grants to
help
cover the many expenses involved
in parrot rescue. We have come up with an idea how we as a
group
can help
these rescues, in the form of
a rescue fund.
We hope you'll join us in this
new and exciting venture, we feel that this is an opportunity
for us to do something that
maybe on an individual basis some of us have never been able to
do,
and it's a chance to "put our money where our mouth is" too, and really
help make a difference for those birds out there sitting in rescues.
