Hi friends! It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm into all sorts of things that keep me very busy now. I still preach parrots everywhere I go and I look in here quite often.

I have a dear friend who writes one of the finest Blogs on the internet. Her name is Suzanne and she left the hussle and bussle of the big cities to raise her kids on a farm. She then started a wonderful family website that includes recipes and "how to" and great shots of her animals with little stories every day.

Here's how it all began:

The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die.” Products of suburbia, my three children wondered why there was no cable TV or Target, not to mention central heat.
